Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Storage Solutions Architect for unstructured data and hybrid cloud to help customers modernize backup infrastructure and reduce recovery risk. You will architect fast-recovery storage, size targets with real-world capacity, and work with backup software platforms in a customer-facing role.

This broadly focused position covers enterprise file and object storage discussions, with emphasis on backup use cases.

Qualifications

8+ years of hands-on experience designing, sizing, and positioning enterprise storage solutions with presales or solution architecture.
Experience sizing backup and recovery storage targets from incomplete customer data and inputs.
Deep understanding of backup administration, including RPO/RTO, retention, and data reduction.
Experience with Dell EMC Data Domain, Commvault, Veeam, Cohesity, or comparable platforms.

Responsibilities

Architect enterprise backup and fast-recovery solutions centered on X10K, including topology, capacity, networking, performance, and security.
Lead customer workshops, assessments, and proofs of concept with measurable success criteria.
Collaborate with sales, product management, and engineering to shape solutions and guide deployment planning.
Provide competitive positioning, tradeoffs, and rationale to stakeholders across IT and procurement.
Stay current on backup trends, immutability, cyber-recovery, and cloud integration.
