Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Solution Engineer to partner with Sales in designing, positioning, and demonstrating Modern Workplace and collaboration solutions.

You will lead customer discovery, produce architecture recommendations, and deliver technical demonstrations to IT leadership and business stakeholders. You will maintain demo environments, support proposals, and contribute to collateral and best practices while earning intermediate certifications across multiple partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex Data Center sales opportunities.
• Ability to design data center infrastructures (hybrid cloud, SDDC, automation, containers).
• Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies and related platforms.
• Ability to communicate complex technical value to customers.
• Travel to SHI, Partners, and customer events.
• Intermediate certifications across 2-3 partners and 4-6 collaboration partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery conversations focused on collaboration and Modern Workplace requirements.
• Design basic customer solutions and integration approaches.
• Develop and maintain demo environments and talk tracks for collaboration solutions.
• Provide input to technical strategy and team collateral.
• Assist account teams with technical scoping, proposals, and RFP/RFI responses.
