Job summary

Barco is seeking a Presales Engineer in Dallas to support sales teams by combining technical expertise with strong customer engagement. You will translate complex concepts into user-friendly solutions and autonomously manage technical support across accounts.

The role requires a customer-first mindset, collaboration with internal and partner teams, and the ability to act as a trusted technical advisor for key customers and prospects. Travel up to 60% is expected.

Qualifications

  • 4–7 years of experience in deploying AV or IT solutions.
  • Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in user-friendly terms.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage depending on the region supported.
  • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative, with a results-driven mindset.
  • Strong technical curiosity and aptitude for applying technical solutions.
  • Knowledge of customer service principles, with the ability to analyse requirements, identify issues, and propose solutions.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of ClickShare products.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support, product education, and demo assistance to internal and partner sales teams.
  • Support the preparation of tender documents in collaboration with sales teams.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor for key customers and prospects, supporting them on technical matters.
  • Create, manage, and execute support contracts.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to plan and organise sales opportunities.
  • Manage customer relationships by collecting and logging client feedback.
  • Analyse and interpret customer requirements and determine optimal solutions in collaboration with Product Management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and repeat business, and communicate findings to management.
  • Participate in trade shows, meetings, and training sessions as required.
  • Travel up to 60% as part of the role.
