At Charter Next Generation in Green Bay, WI, we are seeking a Printing Press Operator to join our team. You will operate state-of-the-art printing presses, ensuring high-quality outputs while working alongside 160 employee-owners in a collaborative environment.

This role requires the ability to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds. We offer competitive wages between $25.00 and $28.00 per hour, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and employee ownership from day one.

The Role

You will operate state-of-the-art printing presses to deliver high-quality printing and finishing services for film, paper, and specialty materials. Working alongside 160 employee‑owners in a collaborative environment, you'll monitor production quality, troubleshoot equipment issues, and participate in our comprehensive training program while serving essential markets including food, consumer goods, industrial, and healthcare.

Schedule

• Work only 15 days per month with our unique 2‑2‑3 schedule
• Work: Monday & Tuesday – Off: Wednesday & Thursday – Work: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday
• Off: Monday & Tuesday – Work: Wednesday & Thursday – Off: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday
• 12‑hour static shifts (Nights ‑ 6:00 pm – 6:00 am)

What You'll Do

• Translate written and computer-generated layout specification into the requirements for mounting plates
• Prepare plates to be mounted
• Clean plates if necessary
• Perform minor repairs if needed
• Apply plates properly using correct materials
• Set up job using plate mounter
• Perform visual inspections of plate and plate components for defects
• Troubleshoot print issues in relation to plates, sleeves, and inks
• Complete required documentation and obtain required signatures
• File plates to ensure the integrity of the plates and filing system
• Participate in quality, continuous improvement, and safety
• Other duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications

• Ability to work 12‑hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools
• Strong communication skills and positive attitude
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment
• Ability to pass pre‑employment drug screening

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of manufacturing experience preferred but not required
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Strong time management skills
• Perform basic math skills
• Obtain accurate geometric measurements with a variety of instruments
• Strong self‑starter who encourages self‑motivation

Compensation & Benefits

Starting Salary

• Wages ranging from $25.00 ‑ $28.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
