Qualifications

• 1+ years of Buying/Merchandising
• Strong math skills
• Excellent customer service
• Proficiency with MS Word/Excel/Outlook
• Ability to learn product knowledge and nutritional information
• Familiarity with prepared foods merchandising expectations
• Understanding of margin programs and profitability

Responsibilities

• Purchases and replenishes food for preparation using proper procedures.
• Monitors open PO reports for purchases and credits.
• Maintains inventory, reduces spoilage, and supports turn goals.
• Completes required spoilage, temperature, and sweep worksheets.
• Assists with counter service and cooks as scheduled.
• Maintains relationships with vendors and communicates ordering needs to Kitchen Manager.
