Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. is seeking team members for the Prepared Foods department in New Jersey. The role focuses on producing, labeling, and rotating products while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

You will assist with daily production, help customers, and ensure accurate pricing and signage. A strong emphasis on teamwork, communication, and adherence to company guidelines is required.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of product and recipe preparation.
• Comma-separated instructions and quality standards.
• Ability to interpret market information for customers.
• Knowledge of spoilage and waste impact on profits.
• Merchandising expectations understood and applied.

Responsabilités

• Assist production across Prepared Foods venues.
• Ensure proper labeling, dating, coverage and rotation.
• Follow WFM guidelines for quality and preparation.
• Document waste and spoilage with required forms.
• Ensure correct measuring devices and recipe adherence.
• Assist customers in distinguishing WFM products from traditional stores.
• Maintain clean, organized walk-ins and freezers.
• Attend shifts on time and participate in trainings.
• Provide excellent customer service and engage in suggestive selling.
• Maximize sales through proper prep, storage, rotation and merchandising.
• Comply with health, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Maintain clean, sanitary work and shopping areas; uphold safety standards.
• Perform opening, mid, closing duties and verify signs/pricing.
• Report safety hazards and violations promptly.
