Job summary

Whole Foods Market is hiring for team member roles in Malibu. The position involves preparing and merchandising prepared foods, serving customers, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards to support store programs and initiatives.

Team Members participate in opening/closing duties, demonstrate strong product knowledge, and help customers understand Whole Foods products while upholding quality and service expectations. Wage range is $18.50–$25.40 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of prepared foods and product lines.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and Team Members.
• Commitment to courteous, friendly, efficient service.
• Understanding of Weights & Measures and sanitation guidelines.
• Willingness to follow SOPs and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assists with production for all Prepared Foods venues.
• Ensures proper labeling, dating, covering, and rotation of products.
• Maintains quality and adherence to WFM guidelines.
• Documents waste and spoilage using required forms.
• Keeps walk-ins and freezers organized and clean.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties and checks pricing.
• Reports safety hazards and violations promptly.
