Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking Team Members to support Prepared Foods through production, labeling, and rotation of products. You will help customers understand product differences, maintain clean prep areas, and follow safety and quality procedures.

The role requires strong teamwork, effective communication, and adherence to merchandising standards. Wage range is $17.00–$25.40 per hour, with Whole Benefits including store discounts and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Thorough product knowledge required.
• Ability to prepare multiple recipes per shift based on batch sizes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with production for all Prepared Foods venues.
• Label, date, cover, and rotate prepared foods.
• Ensure product meets WFM guidelines for quality and preparation.
• Document waste and spoilage.
• Follow recipes and use correct measuring devices.
• Help customers understand differences between WFM and other stores.
• Keep walk-ins and freezers clean and organized.
• Provide excellent customer service and suggestive selling.
• Ensure correct pricing and signs during openings/closures.
• Report safety hazards promptly.
