Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician to join our Sterile Processing Department at Baptist Medical Center South on a full-time day shift, Monday through Friday.

You will decontaminate, sterilize, inspect, and assemble surgical instruments and supplies, following safety protocols to ensure instruments are ready for patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1-2 years Instrument Experience.
• 1-2 years Surgical Instrumentation Experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Inspect, assemble, and wrap instrument trays and linen for sterilization.
• Select appropriate supplies and sterilization methods.
• Operate sterilization equipment while following established protocols.
• Demonstrate knowledge of sterilization principles and best practices.

Baptist Medical Center South is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician to join our Sterile Processing Department at our South campus.

This is a full-time days shift position, working Monday through Friday..

As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting surgical services by ensuring instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, assembled, and available for patient care.

As a Sterile Processing Tech, your responsibilities include:
