Job summary

Baptist Health's Baptist Medical Center Clay in Jacksonville is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician to join the Sterile Processing Department at the Downtown Clay campus. This PRN role supports surgical services by ensuring instruments and equipment are cleaned, sterilized, assembled, and ready for patient care.

Responsibilities include decontamination, sterilization, tray assembly, selecting supplies, operating sterilization equipment, and maintaining accuracy and quality

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• 1-2 years Instrument Experience.
• 1-2 years Surgical Instrumentation Experience.

• Inspect, assemble, and wrap instrument trays and linen for sterilization.
• Select appropriate supplies and sterilization methods.
