Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to support the Sterile Processing Department at Baptist South. This full-time evenings position requires handling sterilization principles, wrapping instruments, and prioritizing tasks to ensure efficient operations.

Qualified candidates have 1-2 years of instrument experience, with CRCST or CSPDT certifications; high school diploma required. Located at Baptist Medical Center South, South - Main Building.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years Surgical Instrumentation Experience.
• Linen Processing Experience.
• Knowledge of regulatory protocols.

Responsibilities

• Understand principles of sterilization.
• Wrap instruments/linen properly, selecting correct supplies for sterilization.
• Able to prioritize duties.
• Knowledge of sterilization equipment and processes they perform.
• Able to decontaminate surgical instrumentation and re-assemble into trays.
