Job summary

D&W Diesel, Inc. is seeking a supervisor to lead the cleaning and teardown processes in our remanufacturing facility, overseeing disassembly, training, and workflow.

You will document SOPs, maintain safety, and ensure quality; you will coordinate flow through the department and supervise staff. We offer ESOP, 401(k) with match, health/dental/vision, disability & life insurance, and paid time off, at our Auburn, NY headquarters with eight locations.

Qualifications

• Prior leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing principles and processes.
• Effective communication across all levels of business.
• Ability to assign work and direct a team.
• Desire to learn about cleaning technologies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise powertrain disassembly and cleaning procedures.
• Develop and implement staff training on equipment and procedures.
• Coordinate product flow through the department.
• Ensure all outgoing work meets quality standards.
• Document standard operating procedures for equipment and processes.
• Maintain an upbeat and safe work environment.
