Job summary

Jason's Deli is seeking a Back of the House Line Employee to support vegetable/fruit prep, salad bar setup, and multi-station readiness. You may rotate through sandwich making, expediting, food running, and dishwashing to maintain smooth service. High attention to hygiene and teamwork is essential.

This role involves standing for long periods, lifting up to 30 pounds, and following health regulations. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with six months of experience being desirable.

Qualifications

• It is preferred the applicant be enrolled in high school or have a high school diploma or GED.
• At least six months of work experience is preferred.
• Candidate must learn basic job routines and communicate effectively.
• Health regulations require compliance with city health and dress code policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vegetables and fruit for service and salad bar setup.
• Set up front line, back line, and other work stations per shift.
• Operate meat slicer, buffalo chopper, and other kitchen equipment.
• Assist with catering prep and dish washing as needed.

Job Qualifications

• Education It is preferred the applicant be enrolled in high school or a certified GED program or have their high school diploma or GED
• Experience Unless currently attending high school college or a technical or vocation school qualified applicants preferred to have at least six months work experience
• Skills Qualified applicants must be able to learn basic job routines and must be able to communicate effectively
• Health An applicant who is currently infected with or has knowledge that they are currently infected with a communicable disease which has been determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services as one which is transmissible to the public through the handling of food will not be considered as a qualified applicant An Applicant must comply with the applicable city Department of Health regulations as well as Jasons Delis dress code policies

Physical Standards
