Job summary

Jason's Deli is hiring for Back of House Line Employees to support vegetable prep, fruit prep, salad bar setup, front and back line setup, meat slicer, catering prep and more. The role covers multiple positions during the shift, including sandwich maker, expeditor, stocker, and dishwash.

The work is in a fast-paced kitchen requiring multi-tasking and teamwork. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least six months of work experience, with the ability to learn routines and

Responsibilities

• Set up multiple back-of-house positions (vegetable prep, fruit prep, salad bar, front line, back line, meat slicer, catering prep, bread prep, recipe/ project person, bus/dish set up).
• Perform shift duties related to listed positions (sandwich maker, expeditor, stocker, food runner, etc.).
• Maintain speed and accuracy in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Job Qualifications

• Education It is preferred the applicant be enrolled in high school or a certified GED program or have their high school diploma or GED
• Experience Unless currently attending high school college or a technical or vocation school qualified applicants preferred to have at least six months work experience
• Skills Qualified applicants must be able to learn basic job routines and must be able to communicate effectively
• Health An applicant who is currently infected with or has knowledge that they are currently infected with a communicable disease which has been determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services as one which is transmissible to the public through the handling of food will not be considered as a qualified applicant An Applicant must comply with the applicable city Department of Health regulations as well as Jasons Delis dress code policies

Physical Standards
