Square One Concepts, Inc. is seeking a Prep & Pantry Cook in Oro Valley, AZ to support daily kitchen operations. You will prepare ingredients, organize the pantry, and assist with general duties to ensure efficient service.

The role emphasizes following recipes, maintaining cleanliness, and collaborating with the kitchen team to deliver high-quality meals for guests. Candidates should be able to stand long hours, lift up to 50 pounds, and work flexible nights.

Qualifications

• Food safety knowledge and sanitation practices must be followed.
• Must follow recipes accurately and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Must stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work late nights and flexible hours.
• Must have valid Food Handlers Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation by measuring ingredients, weighing, chopping vegetables, and following recipes.
• Maintain an organized, well-stocked pantry and rotate stock as deliveries arrive.
• Set up all necessary equipment and stations for line cooks and chefs.
• Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and utensils per food safety guidelines.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.
• Coordinate timing with other kitchen stations to ensure timely dish service.
• Ensure quality through adherence to recipes, portion control, and plating guidelines.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and labeling procedures.
• Be flexible to assist in other kitchen duties as assigned.
• Perform other related duties as needed.
