COLD BEERS & CHEESEBURGERS - ORO VALLEY is seeking a Prep & Pantry Cook to support kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, organizing the pantry, and assisting with general duties. The role emphasizes cleanliness, adherence to recipes, and contributing to a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities include measuring ingredients, maintaining pantry organization, and coordinating with line cooks to ensure timely dish preparation while upholding food safety standards and labeling protocols.

Qualifications

• Food safety knowledge and proper storage/handling.
• Follow sanitation protocols and hygiene procedures.
• Able to read and follow recipes accurately.
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability.
• Detail-oriented and able to work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and measure ingredients, slice and chop vegetables, marinate meats, and follow recipes.
• Maintain a well-stocked pantry by inspecting deliveries and rotating stock.
• Set up and organize equipment and stations for line cooks and chefs.
• Clean and sanitize workstations and utensils; comply with health and safety guidelines.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages; assist with stock counts and records.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure timely dish preparation and service.
• Maintain quality by following portion control and plating guidelines.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and company policies.
• Be flexible to assist in various kitchen duties and line cooking during peak times.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
