Harmony Bowl is hiring for a Prep/Line Cook to join our full-service restaurant team. You will arrive on time to prepare and serve menu items, maintaining a clean prep area and assisting with rushes. A positive attitude and customer-focused approach are essential to meet our guests’ expectations.

Qualifications

• Background as a prep/line cook or related experience.
• Basic understanding of or the ability to learn food safety.
• Basic understanding of or the ability to learn food handling techniques and cooking procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills and etiquette.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and stressful environment.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Ability to take direction.
• Ability to maintain personal hygiene.
• Ability to learn restaurant menu and recipes.
• Have effective communication skills.
• Have problem solving abilities.
• Be self-motivating and organized.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cold foods, operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
• Prepare food in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Expedite orders while maintaining food quality.
• Regulate temperatures to ensure safety and quality of food.
• Cook foods by baking, roasting, frying, and grilling.
• Maintain inventory and FIFO rotation.
• Prepare dinner items based on typical volume and FIFO guidelines.
• Assist and train kitchen staff in temperature control and sanitation.
• Create dishes that enhance the bowling experience.
• Perform additional tasks as requested by management.
