Job summary

SIE Culinary Management is seeking a dedicated Prep Cook in San Diego, CA. This full-time role combines food preparation with dishwashing duties to ensure smooth kitchen operations and high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of ingredients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to recipes.
• Chop, slice, and dice vegetables, meats, and other food items as per the chef's instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized prep area.
• Work collaboratively with the culinary team to execute a seamless service during peak hours.
• Follow recipes and guidelines to prepare and plate dishes with precision and consistency.
• Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure a seamless flow of operations.
• Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries.
• Follow proper sanitation and safety protocols.
• Keep kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils clean and sanitized.
• Empty trash and recycling containers regularly.
• Assist in routine cleaning tasks to maintain a hygienic kitchen environment.
