Job summary

Blount Fine Foods is seeking a Prep Lead to oversee the Prep department during the 5:00 AM–1:30 PM shift. This full-time role involves leading the team, ensuring accurate processing of ingredients, and maintaining safety and quality standards. Weekend work may be required.

Pay ranges from $21.00 to $21.52 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth. The Prep Lead will mentor staff, monitor KPI performance, and participate in HACCP compliance and allergen controls

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to train and develop staff.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP and allergen control programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Prep department to ensure accurate, efficient processing of ingredients.
• Guide and train team members to minimize waste and prep delays.
• Maintain inventory accuracy within the department.
• Ensure departmental equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to GMPs, SOPs and Food Safety policies.
