Job summary

Blount Fine Foods, a family-owned manufacturer of premium fresh prepared foods in Fall River, MA, is seeking a 3rd shift Prep department lead. The role coordinates all zone activities, ensures proper labeling, and manages material ordering to keep zones stocked while maintaining strict food-safety procedures.

Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of related experience, including lead responsibilities, food handling experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year related experience and/or training, with lead experience.
• 1 year food handling experience.
• Must possess strong supervisor/lead skills.
• Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to speak Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all zone activities in the Prep department.
• Ensure proper labeling of all items prepped in the zones under your watch.
• Coordinate ordering of materials to ensure the zone has needed ingredients when required.
• Track ongoing progress of the zones and report to the prep Supervisors.
• Monitor zone activity to ensure correct procedures are followed (e.g., cutting, hand washing).
• Complete zone paperwork and coordinate prioritization of items in the zone.
