Job summary

Crab's Claw Oceanfront Caribbean Seafood Restaurant is seeking a hands-on cook to prepare house recipes, assist in the dish room, and keep line-prep fully stocked at peak times. You will adjust yields by recalculating recipes and operate with windowed, high-volume kitchen tasks during weekends.

Applicants should have restaurant cooking and sanitation experience, and familiarity with light equipment like Robo Coupe and blenders. FIFO experience is a plus and may boost pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant cooking, sanitation and following recipes.
• Experience using light food equipment such as Robo Coupe, two-rack dishwasher, Emerson blender, blenders and baking breads.
• FIFO experience; Serve Safe certificate not required but if valid there is a pay increase.
• Recalculation of recipes to adjust yield.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation of house recipes, helping out in dish room, organizing walk in, and keeping preparation for line cooks fully stocked.
• Recalculation of recipes to adjust yield.
• Fully accommodate full time or part time schedules, mostly weekends.
• FIFO experience preferred; certification not required for pay increase if valid.
