Qualifications

• Prior kitchen experience in food service preferred.
• Proficient with kitchen tools, equipment and culinary techniques.
• Knowledge of food preparation, handling and safety standards.
• Ability to multitask with efficiency and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Follow a prep list and complete tasks efficiently with speed.
• Read and follow recipes with accurate measurements and portioning.
• Prepare ingredients using knife skills: chopping, dicing, slicing.
• Use cooking methods: boiling, broiling, roasting, sautéing, frying, grilling.
• Prep ingredients for 200+ menu items and sauces.
• Operate ovens, fryers, broilers, flat tops, grills, tilt skillets, mixers, slicers.
• Label, date and rotate food using FIFO procedures.
• Follow safety, sanitation and cleanliness standards; maintain organization.
• Support teamwork with clear communication and composure under pressure.
