Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Prep Cook to support our culinary team in preparing meals for residents in our Bread Basket dining experience. You will follow menus, ensure proper serving temperatures and plating, and interact with residents to enhance their dining experience.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, following regulatory requirements, and coordinating with the Kitchen Manager for events and tours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following Bickford's menus, processes and expectations.
• Serve food timely, at correct temperatures and properly plated.
• Ensure processes are followed during meal service.
• Interact with residents in the Dining Room during meals to enhance their dining experience.
• Wash dishes, pots and pans according to dishwashing procedure.
• Follow the Kitchen Daily Task Guide.
• Maintain records of resident diets and preferences.
• Store food per regulatory requirements and policies.
• Complete tasks from the Kitchen Rotational Cleaning Schedule.
• Maintain kitchen and dining room cleanliness to meet standards.
• Keep Bistro/Beverage Bar stocked with refreshments.
• Coordinate with Kitchen Manager for tours and events.
