Bickford Senior Living is hiring a Prep Cook to join our dining team in Mount Pleasant, MI. You will prepare meals, serve residents, and help maintain a welcoming, restaurant-style dining experience called the Bread Basket.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following menus, processes, and expectations.
• Serve food timely, at correct temperatures, and appropriately plated.
• Ensure process is followed during meal service.
• Interact with residents in the Dining Room during meals to enhance their dining experience.
• Wash dishes, pots, and pans following dishwashing procedure.
• Follow the Kitchen Daily Task Guide.
• Use residents’ Diet orders to follow allergies and preferences.
• Maintain food service records per regulatory requirements and policies.
• Store food per regulatory requirements and policies.
• Complete tasks from the Kitchen Rotational Cleaning Schedule.
• Maintain kitchen and dining room for cleanliness and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure Bistro/Beverage Bar is stocked with refreshments.
• Coordinate with Kitchen Manager for tours and events.
