Bickford Senior Living is hiring a Prep Cook in the United States. The role supports the culinary team in preparing meals for residents in a restaurant-style dining experience called the Bread Basket.

Starting wages begin at $15 per hour, with full-time eligibility for comprehensive benefits and daily pay options. Responsibilities include meal preparation, timely service, maintaining cleanliness, and coordinating with the kitchen manager for tours and events.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following menus, processes, and expectations.
• Serve food timely, at correct temperatures and properly plated.
• Follow Bickford’s kitchen processes during meal service.
• Interact with residents in the Dining Room to enhance dining experience.
• Wash dishes and cookware per dishwashing procedures.
• Follow the Kitchen Daily Task Guide and track dietary needs.
• Maintain accurate food service records and compliance with regulations.
• Store food per regulatory requirements and policies.
• Complete tasks from Kitchen Rotational Cleaning Schedule and maintain cleanliness.
• Keep Bistro/Beverage Bar stocked with refreshments and coordinate for events.
