Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a Prep Cook for the New York Botanical Garden in New York, NY. You will prepare items according to recipes, follow daily production sheets, and assist with serving guests in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include HACCP compliance, labeling and storing food, and maintaining cleanliness and safety. Pastry experience is preferred but not required; competitive hourly pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Prepares items per production sheets and recipes.
• Maintains quality and serving temperatures.
• Follows HACCP guidelines for safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Obtains production schedule from Chef and prepares items.
• Stores, labels and dates all food items per policy.
• Takes orders and serves customers at multiple stations.
• Operates and cleans equipment per procedures after use.
• Completes required documentation and logs as needed.
