Job summary

Invited is seeking a Cook 1 to join our hospitality team. You will set up and execute daily prep tasks, assist in producing daily specials, and support cooks to ensure consistent quality and presentation. This entry-level role emphasizes learning and teamwork in a busy club kitchen.

You will collaborate with Cook 2 and Cook 3, maintain sanitation, and adapt to guests’ needs while upholding Invited’s standards and service levels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
• Valid Food Handler Certifications as required by state and city regulations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Set up and execute daily prep tasks for your station.
• Prepare and store all food items required for your station.
• Maintain proper cooking techniques and presentation of menu items.
• Receive and store goods purchased by kitchen as requested.
• Manage items used by others (condiments, dressings, sauces, soups).
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area and kitchen.
