Pinyon, a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant opening in Old Town Scottsdale, seeks a Prep Cook to support high-volume service. You’ll prep ingredients, assist with mise en place, and keep stations stocked and clean in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant preferred (but we’ll train the right candidates with a great attitude).
• Previous experience as a prep cook in a high-volume or fast-paced kitchen preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients according to recipes, portioning standards, and prep lists.
• Maintain organized and stocked stations to ensure the line operates efficiently.
• Assist chefs with mise en place, including chopping, slicing, peeling, and measuring ingredients.
• Support the kitchen team during service by quickly restocking and delivering prep items.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness of prep areas, tools, and equipment.
• Adapt quickly to the needs of a high-volume kitchen while maintaining accuracy and quality.
