Job summary

Felipe's Taqueria is seeking a Prep Cook (Preparador) to support our scratch kitchen. You will prepare fresh ingredients and stock coolers to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and delivers high-quality meals to guests.

You will collaborate with COCINEROS (cooks), Kitchen Leads, and the Manager on Duty to ensure prep is correct and ready for service, while adhering to food safety practices and maintaining a clean prep area.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen environments preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety guidelines is a plus (training provided).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare all recipes according to Felipe’s standards.
• Follow prep lists and complete tasks in the correct order.
• Measure and portion ingredients correctly.
• Maintain a clean, organized prep station and refrigerators.
• Assist during service by stocking and rotating ingredients.
• Unload, rotate, and organize deliveries while following safety procedures.
