Salsa Fresca Mexican Grill is seeking an experienced Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare and cook a variety of dishes for our guests, ensuring quality and consistency across all prep items.

You are passionate about great food and capable of managing multiple prep projects, maintaining an organized walk-in, and communicating needs to your managers and teammates. ServeSafe or Food Handler’s certification is preferred or you must be willing to attain it.

Formación

• Previous experience as a prep cook preferred.
• Attention for detail
• Teachable.
• ServeSafe or Food Handler’s certification (or must be willing to attain)
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to lift 30+ lbs
• Ability to work standing for 8+ hours

Responsabilidades

• Inspect and clean food preparation areas to ensure safe and sanitary practices.
• Ensure freshness through rotation and labeling in the walk-in.
• Taste prep to ensure correct cooking and seasoning.
• Respond to guest feedback with urgency and professionalism.
• Communicate with the incoming shift about priorities for prep items.
