Job Title: Prep Cook

Company: Morrison Healthcare

Location: NH Rowan Medical Center - 612 Mocksville Avenue, Salisbury, NC 28144

Schedule: Full-time; Days may vary, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. More details upon interview.

Pay Range: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour

Job Summary

Prepare food and serve customers according to federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Responsibilities

1. Obtain daily production schedule and requirements from the Chef.
2. Prepare items following established recipes and quantities.
3. Complete and follow production worksheets and waste logs; taste meals for quality.
4. Operate and clean equipment after use.
5. Store, label, and date food items, following HACCP guidelines.
6. Complete documentation, reports, and logs as required.
7. Follow health, sanitation, and safety regulations.
8. Take customer orders and prepare quick-serve items.
9. Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
10. Use approved recipes and standards to ensure quality and safety.
11. Resolve customer concerns and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Prior experience in cooking, grab & go, salad & sandwiches, prep cooking, and stocking is preferred.
