Job summary

King's Hawaiian is seeking a Prep Cook at The Local Place to prepare all dishes on the menu according to recipe cards, maintain safety, and keep prep areas clean. The role focuses on prepping proteins, vegetables, and sauces, and requires basic English and reliable attendance for nights, weekends, and holidays.

You will work with the team to deliver an Aloha Experience, support front-of-house needs, and ensure sanitation standards are met while maintaining equipment and station readiness

Qualifications

• Speaks and understands basic English.
• Knowledgeable to work all equipment and stations in prep and front line.
• Able to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended hours.
• Substance-free work environment.

Responsibilities

• Preps all proteins, vegetables, and sauces on menu from recipe cards.
• Loads and unloads goods, labels and dates all prepared products.
• Maintains sanitation and cleaning of prep areas and equipment.
• Assists team and participates in training; supports other areas as needed.
• Follows health and safety guidelines and safe-lifting procedures.
