Job summary

TGI Fridays is seeking a Prep role to prepare a wide variety of foods according to recipe requirements and to adhere to product sensitivities and plate presentation. You will ensure all prepared food meets safety standards and quality, while maintaining a clean, stocked prep area and accurate rotation of products.

The role requires multitasking in a high-volume environment, strong adherence to recipes, and vigilant food-handling practices to protect guest satisfaction and costs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Produce items exactly according to recipe to ensure Guest satisfaction and control food costs.
• Follow food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure safety.
• Must be able to stand, move and walk for entire shift, and lift up to 70 lbs.
• Must be able to hear kitchen requests in a loud environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all prepared food meets standard of excellence and presentation guidelines.
• Complies with food safety rules, laws, and protocols.
• Keeps prep area clean and stocked; rotates stock and labels products accordingly.
• Communicates inventory needs to the management team and completes assigned prep work.
• Assists with line checks and maintains product sensitivity guidelines.
