J. Alexander's Restaurant in Tampa is seeking a Prep Cook to support our scratch kitchen. You will assist in executing recipes to specification, maintain cleanliness, and follow sanitation guidelines in an open-kitchen setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age to operate kitchen equipment.
• Experience and knowledge of kitchen equipment including knives, slicer, mixer, stoves, and ovens.
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts.
• Previous kitchen/culinary/chef experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and plate menu items following recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized station and follow sanitation protocols.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Coordinate with expo and management to ensure smooth service.
