Pura Vida Miami is seeking a Restaurant Team Member to join our Miami Beach kitchen crew. You will help prep ingredients, maintain a clean workstation, and assist chefs with daily tasks in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires 1–2 years in food production or a busy restaurant, plus a Food Handler certification. You will be expected to adhere to safety guidelines, manage multiple tasks, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience in food production or fast-paced restaurant.
• Food Handler certification required or pursued at applicant’s expense.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Prepare ingredients as per recipes and kitchen needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, with proper storage.
• Support chefs by measuring and mixing ingredients and performing prep tasks.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with inventory by labeling and storing ingredients and notifying the Kitchen Manager of low stock levels.
• Perform daily and deep cleaning tasks to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Assist in receiving deliveries and storing them properly.
• Cross-train across various restaurant roles to support growth and team success.
• Support additional duties as assigned.
