Suburban Inns in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a part-time Prep Cook to support our dining operations with high-quality, guest-focused meals. You will follow make sheets/recipes, uphold health standards, and work with the team to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.

The role offers $16/hour base pay, flexible scheduling based on position, and opportunities for advancement within a fast-paced hospitality environment. Prior restaurant experience and ServSafe certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to interpret and perform basic arithmetic; typing/record-keeping may be required.
• Good communication skills.
• Prior restaurant experience preferred.
• ServSafe Food and Allergen Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all required items according to make sheets/recipes.
• Set up service units with needed items.
• Service items in accordance with portions and presentation standards.
• Notify Kitchen Supervisor of expected shortages.
• Ensure work areas and equipment are clean and sanitary.
• Adhere to local health and safety regulations.
