Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients according to recipes and Shindigs standards.
• Wash, cut, chop, portion, and prep produce, meats, sauces, and other ingredients.
• Prepare batches of sauces, dressings, sides, and other components.
• Label, date, rotate, and store food properly.
• Maintain portion sizes and recipe consistency.
• Keep prep areas, equipment, and storage clean and organized.
• Restock line stations and communicate product needs to cooks.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and temperature-control procedures.
• Assist with deliveries when needed and reduce food waste.
• Support Line Cooks, Dishwashers, and other kitchen staff.
• Complete opening, closing, and cleaning duties as assigned.
• Report shortages, quality concerns, or equipment issues to management.
• Work with urgency while maintaining quality and safety.
