Job summary

Pinewood Country Club in Munds Park, AZ is seeking a full-time Prep Cook for a seasonal role lasting up to six months. You will work closely with the Executive and Sous Chefs to prepare and plate dishes, maintain cleanliness, and uphold sanitation standards.

Strong teamwork and reliable communication are essential. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, basic prep cook experience, and current Food Handlers’ certification.

Qualifications

• Basic prep cook experience is preferred.
• Must be current with Food Handlers’ certification.
• Basic knife skills and food identification are a plus.
• Works well in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Executive Chef and Sous Chef in planning, preparation and execution of food.
• Maintain clear communication with kitchen staff.
• Follow sanitation guidelines and safe food handling practices.
• Keep kitchen, dining and storage areas clean and organized.
• Perform daily cleaning duties.
• Assist with duties as needed and support line cooks.
