The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated is seeking a Prep Cook in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant in Wisconsin. You will follow prep lists, read recipes, and prepare ingredients for 200+ menu items with precise measurements and consistent quality.

You will operate a range of kitchen equipment, maintain safety and sanitation, and support a collaborative kitchen team to deliver memorable dining experiences for guests.

Qualifications

• Prior kitchen experience preferred.
• Proficient with kitchen tools and techniques.
• Ability to multitask with precision and speed.

Responsibilities

• Follow prep list and complete tasks quickly and accurately.
• Read recipes and measure ingredients precisely.
• Chop, dice, and slice ingredients with knife skills.
• Use cooking methods such as boiling, broiling, roasting, sautéing, frying, and grilling.
• Prepare ingredients for 200+ menu items and manage food labeling and rotation.
• Operate ovens, fryers, broilers, flat tops, grills, tilting skillets, mixers, and slicers.
• Maintain organization, safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.
• Adhere to food safety, handling, and cross-contamination prevention.
• Communicate clearly with team to support service flow.
• Work well under pressure while maintaining high standards.
