Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience in a fast-paced restaurant is preferred
• Proficient with kitchen tools, equipment, and culinary techniques is a plus
• Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and safety standards
• Ability to multitask with efficiency and a positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Follow a prep list and complete tasks with speed and accuracy
• Read and follow recipes with precise measurements and portions
• Prepare ingredients using strong knife skills: chop, dice, slice
• Use cooking methods including boiling, broiling, roasting, sautéing, frying, grilling
• Prepare ingredients for 200+ menu items, including sauces and soups
• Operate ovens, fryers, broilers, grills, mixers and slicers
• Label, date, and rotate food using FIFO procedures
• Maintain organization, safety, cleanliness, and sanitation
• Adhere to food safety and cross-contamination prevention procedures
• Support teamwork with clear communication
• Work well under pressure while maintaining high standards
