Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant or food production/retail operations experience.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic math skills and ability to follow written/verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of professional cooking and food safety practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of appearance and hygiene.
• Follows the prep list created by chefs.
• Labels and stocks ingredients for accessibility.
• Measure ingredients and seasonings for cooking.
• Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping.
• Undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces.
• Prepare simple dishes such as salads and entrees.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization.
• Assist management with logs and records.
• Check food quality and temperatures to HACCP rules.
• Cross-train and provide support to other stations.
• Perform other duties as required.
