Job summary

GJELINA LAS VEGAS is seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen. You will follow traditional and modern recipes, work with the chef team, and help maintain the restaurant's high standards of quality and cleanliness.

We offer $19.00 per hour (DOE and state) plus tips. A minimum of 2 years cooking experience is required, and candidates should be flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cooking experience.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekend shifts, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients.
• Bake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry and other foods.
• Present, garnish and arrange final dishes.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, grills and fryers.
• Assist management with ensuring daily, weekly, monthly logs are maintained.
• Cross train in other positions and provide support to those workstations as needed.
