Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking: wash, peel, chop, slice.
• Measure and assemble ingredients per recipes and specs.
• Portion and package prepared ingredients for service.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and equipment.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist in stocking stations and receiving deliveries.
• Label, store, and manage inventory to minimize waste.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely (slicers, mixers, blenders).
• Assist cooks and chefs with basic cooking and dish assembly.
• Monitor inventory and communicate shortages to management.
