Job summary

Paradies Lagardère is seeking a Prep Cook to deliver high-quality meals and a supreme dining experience. You will prepare food to exact recipes, maintain safety standards, and support kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires at least 1 year of cooking experience, ServeSafe certification, and the ability to work unsupervised while upholding our hospitality and safety standards. High school diploma or GED is required, with a strong focus on teamwork and customer service.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 1 year of cooking experience in high-volume or fast casual dining environment.
• ServeSafe Certification or equivalent required by state.
• Able to work unsupervised for extended periods and demonstrate good judgment when dealing with guests.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation at 100% recipe adherence. Follow recipes and/or product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving, portioning, and serving food items.
• Follow production prep list and keep accurate records to accurately requisition supplies and equipment as needed.
• Ability to use knives, slicers, and kitchen equipment efficiently and safely.
• Wash, slice, and peel items on prep list and store prepared food items safely and properly date label.”
• Follow all brand standards including those related to food safety, sanitation and guest satisfaction.
• Practices excellent food safety and sanitation practices; comply with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Regularly restocks all kitchen supplies and assists with ordering and planning food supplies as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment; work in a fast-paced setting with high attention to detail.
