The role requires attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple prep projects while maintaining an organized walk‑in and clean workspace. Candidates with ServeSafe or Food Handler’s certification (or willingness to attain) and strong teamwork and communication skills will excel in this position.

Qualifications

• Previous prep cook experience is preferred.
• Attention to detail is essential for accurate prep and labeling.
• Teachable attitude and willingness to learn procedures.
• ServeSafe or Food Handler’s certification (or willingness to attain) is required.
• Strong communication skills with team members and supervisors.
• Ability to lift 30+ lbs and stand 8+ hours.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and prep cooking areas for safety and sanitation.
• Ensure freshness through proper rotation and labeling of items in walk‑in.
• Taste and season prep items to specification.
• Respond to guest feedback promptly and professionally.
• Communicate priorities and prep needs to the incoming shift.
