Job summary

Tidal Raves, an independently owned mid-sized full-service restaurant, is seeking an experienced Prep Cook to join the team. You will prepare and cook a variety of dishes for guests, while maintaining a clean, organized walk-in and supporting a collaborative, productive kitchen environment.

Ideal candidates have prep cook experience, strong knife skills, and ServeSafe or Food Handler certification (or willingness to attain).

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a prep cook preferred.
• Attention for detail.
• ServeSafe or Food Handler’s certification (or willingness to attain).
• Ability to lift 30 lbs and stand for 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and clean food preparation areas and surfaces to ensure safety.
• Ensure freshness of ingredients through proper rotation and labeling.
• Taste and season prep items accurately.
• Respond to guest feedback with professionalism.
• Communicate priorities to the incoming shift.
