Qualifications

• Previous prep cook or kitchen experience in a high-volume or professional culinary environment.
• Strong knife skills and food preparation techniques.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices.
• Ability to follow recipes and written instructions with accuracy and consistency.
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients according to established recipes and chef direction, including chopping, portioning, mixing, labeling, and proper storage.
• Maintain clean, sanitized, and organized prep stations.
• Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries.
• Ensure all food preparation complies with safety and sanitation standards; support line cooks and culinary leadership during service as needed.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and work areas.
• Communicate proactively regarding inventory or product concerns.
