Job summary

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is seeking a kitchen team member to prepare menu items according to our established standards and recipes. You will help maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and storage areas while ensuring proper portioning, food safety, and efficiency during service.

You will work under the Kitchen Manager or Manager on Duty, support with stocking and prep, and contribute to a positive guest experience through teamwork and timely service.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of sanitation, safety, and food handling.
• Willingness to follow recipes, standards and procedures.
• Ability to deliver quality guest service in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepares menu items according to company policies, procedures, programs and performance standards.
• Maintains cleanliness of the kitchen, prep areas, coolers and storage areas.
• Ensures proper portioning and uses FIFO when preparing items.
• Assists with stocking, restocking and maintaining equipment and supplies.
• Communicates effectively with Kitchen Manager, Manager on Duty, and team members.
