Job summary

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is seeking a kitchen team member to prepare menu items according to company procedures and performance standards. You will help maintain food costs and keep the kitchen clean, while supporting the Kitchen Manager and staff to maximize guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include stocking, rotating inventory, ensuring proper portioning, using FIFO, and following food safety and sanitation procedures.

Qualifications

• Basic sanitation, safety and customer service can be taught in-house.

Responsibilities

• Prepares cooking items according to recipes and standards.
• Maintains cleanliness of the kitchen, prep areas, coolers and storage.
• Stocks and rotates products to meet shelf life standards.
• Ensures correct portioning and preparation as specified by recipes.
• Uses FIFO (first in, first out) methods.
• Assists front of house with cleanliness and guest service.
• Reports to work in proper uniform and maintains personal hygiene.
• Follows safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
