Summary

Stone Brewing is searching for an efficient, reliable and passionate Prep Cook to join our Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens team. This role involves cooking and preparing a variety of food products including breads, pastries, meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, sauces, stocks and salads.

Responsibilities

• Completing opening and closing checklists.
• Portioning food products prior to cooking/baking according to standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies.
• Attending all scheduled employee meetings and providing suggestions for improvement.
• Promptly reporting equipment issues, food quality problems, and product shortages to the BOH manager on duty.
• Maintaining all safety and sanitization practices and standards.
• Practicing open and respectful communication and assisting with process improvements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in high-volume kitchen preparation and cooking.
• Current San Diego County Food Handlers card.
• Reliable transportation.
